We all have to begin somewhere, or rather with a point of focus at least. Otherwise we could end up waddling around aimlessly, without a care in the world... wait.. that actually doesn't sound half bad either. As long as if compared to its counterpart, you know.. the high anxiety living on the edge of the fasted paced life. OH BOY, scream if you wanna go faster.. or was it scream to get off this ride. Something tells me we're all aboard the crazy train and the conductor already jumped ship!
Phew! Aren't we all happy that we grew up and left the land of make believe where everything gets sugar coated? Actually for the most part, you'll quickly realize no matter what age you are that all the good things come with the bad. What that does is it makes you actually tell the two apart and give them both meaning to you. You can't see it's even light without experiencing the dark. You'd have no reference points.
How happy does a good thing make you? Would you know unless you've had those losses before? It's difficult to say really, but let's take for example, a person with those same experiences but a different view... a different path chosen, a different life. They won't turn out the same no matter how much you wish they can. There's no amount of pixie dust from Tink, that's gonna float that one up to the same stand point. No way, no how.
But why not? What is different? What are we missing? Ah ha, I know we didn't think about how every person's emotions and environmental surroundings would impact it either. Something simple as a parent unable to communicate properly with 5heir child, for a number of reasons, could send the sky falling chicken little! Life does not come with a manual and even if it did... what are the chances of it striking all the right cords with you. Does anyone want to win the lottery?
It doesn't mean that you lose hope though. If I had a magical box that I could keep any of my greatest memories in. Let me tell you... along with all the best loving, best laughing, best smiling memories... would be all the best lessons that I've learned too. You may not like to go through the bad times, the sad times or the moments of great loss... but they create every single being that is you. They teach you what to look out for, they teach you what love is and what loss is... they teach you to dust your self off, get back up. And get back in there, to fight and live and learn another day.
